CFC SERVANTS OF THE LORD: TRUE MEN OF GOD
The CFC Servants of the Lord (SOLD) is an international Catholic organization for men who want to follow Christ and abide by His teachings as they face the many challenges of everyday life. It is a brotherhood where men support one another in faith and in fellowship. finding strength to fight temptation. Its membership varies in different age groups and status, from bachelors, married, separated or divorced or widowers. They could also be husbands of women overseas workers or expatriates themselves. SOLD provides an environment wherein they will be empowered to manage their lives accordingly and lead other men and their families to Christ.
On its Pastoral Formation. SOLD tailor fits its teachings and activities to the taste of men, with straight forward talks, workshops. songs and matched physical activities like climbing volcanoes, sports activities, simulated rescues and team building activities. SOLD also focuses on developing effective pastoral skills for its members like leading worships, giving men’s forum. counseling and good fellowship.
SOLD aims to be the “Men’s Formation Ministry of CFC”, building up and empowering the men in community by being good husbands and responsible fathers to their families, as well as shepherding the flock given to them.
PROGRAMS:
• ABBA, FATHERS’ WEEKEND — Probably the best and life changing program of SOLD as acclaimed by many of the participants. It deals with issues on fatherhood and reconciling with the past.
• 24/15 BEST DECISION CONFERENCE —A Catholic Men’s Conference empowering the men to take full responsibility of their actions in life, care for their wife and children, and to lead their family in serving the Lord.
